Driver-Assisting Technology FeaturesAnother factor that the Q50 and IS are comparable on is their driver-assisting technology features. These systems use exterior sensors to detect vehicles in close proximity and use the rate of approach to determine if a collision is likely. These safety features will then provide an alert and enact the brakes to reduce the force of collision or to give you time to react.
Each vehicle also includes pre-collision systems. However, the Lexus IS comes standard with Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Intelligent High Beams.
